Great Wall passed an ISO9001-2000 international quality system audit, and was awarded certification which is approved by the National Accreditation Committee, is internationally accredited, is multilaterally recognized and accepted.
August 12, 1999
Great Wall was included in the list of 100 major focus enterprises by the Ministry of Foreign Trade.
June 23, 1999
the State Council issued a document laying out clear guidelines for the restructuring of Great Wall into a limited liability company, with China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation and China Aerospace Corporation Electrical and China Aerospace Machinery and Electronics Corp holding 50% of the shares.

the company received RMB 1.5 billion of export credit loans from the Bank of China for use in its commercial launch services business.

he company completed construction of the Great Wall Aerospace Plaza on Suzhou Street, Haidian District, Beijing. The building extends over a total surface area of 420,000 square meters, with a total investment of approx. RMB 4 billion, combining office space, apartments, commercial and restaurant space in a single integrated commercial building. The company's headquarters will be relocated to the Plaza in October, after which the building will be formally opened.
April 1996
the company signed an agreement in Beijing's Great Hall of the People with eleven companies including the Suzhou Economic Park Development Corporation to jointly establish Suzhou Industrial Park Co., Ltd. The company established Sino-Singapore Suzhou Industrial Park Development Co., Ltd. with a consortium of Singaporean investors led by the Singapore government, to jointly develop and construct the Suzhou Industrial Park. This was a cross-century project developed under the framework of a new cooperation agreement between the Chinese and Singaporean governments.
July 1994
the company received a seller's letter of credit for RMB 3 billion issued by the Export-Import Bank of China or the APTSTAR-2 program, the first loan payment made by the Bank following its establishment.

the company began to invest in the Bank of Communications. The company currently holds a total of 87.36 million shares in the Bank, and appoints supervisors to the Bank's supervisory board.
