CGWIC Participated in Export Control Seminar

From December 7 to 8, 2006, CGWIC representatives participated in a Seminar on Enterprises’ Export Control in Beijing, held by the China Arms Control and Disarmament Association (CACDA) and the Center for International Trade and Security of the University of Georgia. The topic of the seminar was “Defending the First Defense Line of Proliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction and Upgrading the Level of Enterprises’ Internal Compliance and Export Control”. The seminar’s communications and discussions provided CGWIC with a more in-depth understanding of enterprise export control system, practical experience and practice from the companies involved, as well as updated information on export control policies, laws and regulations in China, the U.S, European Union, Japan and India, and expanded academic exchange channels.
