To further reinforce the nonproliferation and export control awareness of the staff and elude operation risks, according to the CGWIC export control annual work plan and the cooperation arrangement between CGWIC and Center of International Trade and Security (CITS) of University of Georgia (UGA), CGWIC invited the CITS/UGA experts to give staff the export control training on July, 2nd. Company President Yin Liming, all staff of the divisions, subsidiary companies of Beijing area, managers from Shanghai and Guangzhou branch companies, as well as the export control administrators and business personnel were presented.
The US experts introduced the significance of the export control to the development of the enterprise. They mainly explained the basic elements of export control, US export control system and related policy, the content and methods of internal compliance program construction, etc. The lecturers explained by concrete cases, and introduced the end users’ screening tools to the sales team of the company. The seminar had achieved desirable results with its practicability and vivid interaction between the lecturers and the audience.
The training was successfully held, and it will be sure to further improve the nonproliferation export compliance construction of the company.
