
From June 20 to June 25, 2011, China Great Wall Industry Corp. attended the 49th Paris Air Show. CGWIC is the first Chinese enterprise which made its debut on Paris Air Show. For this year, it is CGWIC’s 13th participation to the event of international aerospace and space industry.
On the 49th Paris Air Show, CGWIC mainly promotes and introduces its launch vehicles including the LM-3B, LM-2D and LM-4B, and commercial satellite platforms including DFH-4 and CAST2000 which have won international commercial contracts. Besides, CGWIC demonstrates the models of LM-5 launch vehicle and DFH-5 satellite.
What is more, there are three highlights for CGWIC’s booth. The first, the debut of hyperspectral observation satellite, Seismo-Electromagnetic Monitoring Experimental Satellite and HJ-1 satellite demonstrates that Chinese remote sensing satellites are playing more and more important role in the field of environment protection, disaster monitoring and forecasting. The second, the introduction to Beidou satellite navigation system and COTM Mobile Satellite Communications Antenna well illustrates CGWIC’s endeavors for promoting the global application of Chinese aerospace systems. The third, with the development of Chinese aerospace industry in the fields of manned space mission and deep space exploration, for the first time, CGWIC demonstrates the related materials concerning Chang’e-II spacecraft, Lunar Lander, Lunar Rover, TG-1 Target Orbiter,space station and Mars explorer, Yinghuo-1 for deep space exploration.
